Lukas (Ojibwe/Mapuche) is the Kapwa Consulting research and project assistant, supporting multiple client projects to advance racially equitable outcomes. They bring an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach to racial and social justice work including advocacy and previous consulting experience in healthcare, higher ed, non-profits and government. They specialize in US race/identity politics, queer theory, transgender justice, Two-Spirit and Indigenous sovereignty, trauma informed care, and other topics that center marginalized voices. Their strengths lie in community outreach and organizing, leadership development and mentorship, public speaking, and storytelling.
